Who We Are
We’re Joshua Crispin and Arn Andersson, together we’ve got over a decade of experience in this industry and have had our music featured in everything from Hollywood movie trailers, video games, and advertisement campaigns, to releases with world class orchestras and DJ’s.
For the past 3 years we’ve worked closely together on a multitude of projects, and we’d like to pass down all the invaluable lessons we’ve learned in our careers through both trial and error as well as amazing mentors in order to help others entering this industry.

The Workshop Outline
The Ignition Stage
We'll get started by covering the biggest issues we face when coming up with new ideas, and the mental obstacles that are holding us back from being our most creative selves. We'll dive into the tools needed, and my workflow for what I call the "Ignition" stage of a composition - where ideas are generated without judgment.
6 Idea Engines
We'll cover 6 different methods that you can use to start ideas, each with a distinctly different angle that helps create very different ideas. Most people are stuck using just 1 of these (if any), so breaking out of those patterns and learning a multitude of ways to generate ideas unlocks different sides of your musicality, and helps you get unstuck.
Step By Step Demonstrations
We'll create a ton of ideas in this workshop, in different styles and emotions, with different instruments, limitations, concepts and approaches. You'll be able to submit prompts and questions beforehand, or ask them live during the workshop. This will be an interactive way to learn about the methods we use to come up with tons of ideas quickly.
